The Music Makes The Reception
More so, the Person playing the music makes the reception! You want the right Disc Jockey for your day.
Who is the best option on Cape Cod for your Wedding.
Got four outstanding options for you to consider for your wedding.
Each has his own style. Years of experience with a variety of receptions under thier belts. You should easily find someone from this list to fit the style that you are looking for, to help make your day wonderful.
Dj Steve Binder
Steve has been at this a while. Years experience and is very flexible in the different types of receptions that he has worked.
You want someone who will be an excellent MC? Steve is your man. 25+ year radio career shows that you can trust him with the various announcement throughout the event. Boasts one of, if not, THE largest music library around. He has a warm personality and the willingness to make the day "about you", not him. He isn't the kind of Dj that is going to jump up on tables, making a fool of himself, to get everyone to notice him. He will handle your day with class, yet make it fun at the same time. Young and old love him. He has an uncanny ablity to "watch & learn" a crowd to know what will work to get people involved. He welcomes your song requests and prides himself on being a "stress free" vendor to work with. Only uses the best audio and (if you would like) lighting equipment.

Keith also has a previous radio background and has been involved with music, in some fashion, since his early teens. Smooth silky voice and professional appearance, Keith has the respect of many and does a phenominal job. His smile can light up a room and thus everyone in attendance feeds off of it.

What to stay away from:
Dj "Companies" that have a stable of dj's to choose from. You never know what you are getting and a majority of the time, the dj you get is not the one you chose. Also, the price you pay isn't the amount the Dj at the event makes. The company ower takes up to 75% and give the Dj a paltry sum. Ever heard of the adage "You Get What You Pay For"? Not in this case.
Also, steer clear of Dj's who book more than one wedding a day. There is a true story out there of a Cape Cod Dj who, while working one wedding, put on a pre made mix of music & LEFT the afternoon wedding he was working! He then drove to another location, set up a sound system for another wedding reception. Went back to the first one, where they were looking all over for him, just in time to play the last song (made up some story when asked where he was). Packed up and drove to the second wedding. Upon arrival people were mad because they were looking for him for the announcements and he was nowhere to be found. Is this what you want for your wedding day? Didn't think so.
Be wary of Dj Websites that brag about the amount of awards that they have won. 1) sure sign of an arogant person. 2) anyone can sit at home on thier computer and vote for themselves and setup false fake accounts on social media stating how great they are. Do you want someone who puts themselves first, before you? Not so much.
Off Cape Cod Dj's
While it may sound impressive to some that you hired a Boston Dj for your event, They put thier pants on one leg at a time, just like everyone else. They will charge you more for travel and time. They also run a huge risk of running into traffic delays trying to get onto the cape for the reception. If the "I SPENT $$$$$'S MORE THAN YOU DID" is the montra that you wish to brag to everyone about than go ahead and take the risk. Don't really feel the risk is worth it though as the four above mentioned DJ's are better than anyone you could try to hire from off cape & will do a much better job for you.
